I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my "Saddle Sister" as we were known when we first got our guitars our sophomore year in high school until our graduation We were best known for the Kay Starr version of "Side by Side" and had so much fun singing.

I also remember with great appreciation how Shirley engaged you kids to baby sit my kids when I visited my parents on High Street --especially when I had Mallory and you took the bigger kids to your house for dinner to give me a break.

In recent years it was always good to see her for breakfast with "the girls" and I was really sorry to hear that she had to give up her guitar. I still have mine though I haven't touched it for years.

I am so sorry for your loss--great memories of a great lady--Peggy in New Jersey.l

Jaime and Family, please accept my deepest condolences for you and your family. No loss is easy and when one marks our lives so deeply it can be even more so. I hold you in my heart asking the Father of our Spirits to give you comfort from above and from family and friends. Sigh! 💔

Aunt Shirley was always good for her sarcastic comebacks, wink, and on she would go! Many memories.

Sorry for your loss. While I didn't get the chance to meet your mother, she was certainly a remarkable woman and a gift from our Lord. Prayers for everyone at this difficult time. I wish I could join you in Ravenna but have a prior commitment.
